Prawn Milk Gravy
- Prawns cleaned 300 – 500 grm
- Coconut Milk 3 Cups
- Onion½ cup Chopped
- Tomato½ chopped
- Green chillies 2 chopped (optional)
- Chillie powder ½ – 1 tsp (if you can handle spice )
- Roasted dill seeds1 tsp
- Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
- Ginger and Garlic paste1 tsp
- Cinnamon stick3 cm
- Lime /lemon juice1 tsp
- Salt to taste
Combine all the ingredients to the coconut milk except the prawns cook forabout 7 minutes stirring continuously so that it does not curdle. When the onions are soft, reduce heat and add the prawns and let it cook for further 5 minutes. Switch off the cooker and add the lime juice.
Over cooking the prawns not only will shrink the size but also will become hard.
